Innovation, with roots.

We’ve left behind the city noise and coworking spaces that smell like hot cables.

Here, ideas are grown like Molise tomatoes:
under the sun, without hurry, and with the taste of truth.

At The Wildcodex, we believe the future isn’t built under fluorescent lights, but by breathing clean air and listening to village elders explain how they fixed everything without WiFi.

We bring together global technology and Italian rural wisdom so your project can grow with roots, not with stress.

✅ Slow Life, Fast Tech: Fiber optics in a medieval setting. Yes, it’s legal.

âś… Real connection: Human networking, no business cards. With wine. It works better.

âś… Absolute focus: No distractions. Just you, your project, and a landscape that silently judges you if you procrastinate.

THE ECOSYSTEM

(Or how to turn a village into an ideas laboratory without frightening the chickens.)

It’s not for everyone. And that’s just fine.

(But it might be for you.)

✅ IT’S FOR YOU IF…

  • You’re an entrepreneur, digital nomad or creator
and you no longer perform well surrounded by noise.
  • You prefer long coffee and honest conversations
over meetings that could have been an email.
  • You want to build something serious
    without giving up living well.
  • You’re drawn to the idea of living in a village
    where time doesn’t chase you.
  • You believe innovation needs roots,
    not just speed.

❌ IT’S NOT FOR YOU IF…

  • You’re looking for events with fixed agendas, famous speakers
    and scheduled applause.
  • You need a white office, plastic plants
and motivational quotes on the wall.
  • You want fast results without getting involved.
  • You confuse networking with handing out business cards.
  • You’re uncomfortable when you don’t have everything under control.

We’re not here to escape the world.
We’re here to build a better one, from the ground up.

PRIMORDIA: The event where the future returns to the land.

Primordia is the great annual gathering of The Wild Project.

A rural innovation festival where entrepreneurs, investors, creators, producers and the curious sit at the same table.

Yes, there are pitches.
There are startups, ideas and real projects.
But there is also long meals, local wine, nature, necessary silences,
and conversations that don’t fit on a stage.

For a few days, Roccavivara becomes a living laboratory:
ideas are tested, worlds collide,
and some discover they didn’t come just for an event.

During Primordia, Roccavivara stops being just a place
and becomes a European meeting point for those seeking another way to create.

You don’t come to consume talks.
You come to live together, to observe how work is done from the territory,
and to understand why some projects need less speed
and more context to truly grow.

For a few days, the village transforms into a living laboratory:
ideas are tested, worlds collide,
and some discover they didn’t come just for an event.

Ideas with international reach

Before shaping The Wild Codex,
the people behind the project have driven initiatives with international impact.

Some of those projects have appeared in more than 80 media outlets across over 20 countries,
within fields such as innovation, technology, creativity and new formats.

That previous experience doesn’t define what The Wild Codex is,
but it does explain why this project is born with a global vision rooted in a local territory.

We’re not starting from zero.
We’re starting with accumulated learning.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (OR “WILD DOUBTS”)

1Is there really high-speed internet in a rural village?
Absolutely. We know it’s your oxygen. We have high-speed fiber-optic internet and satellite backup across all our coworking spaces and living areas. You’ll be able to hold 4K video calls while looking at a centuries-old olive tree.
2Where will I stay if I decide to come?
We don’t believe in generic hotels. We manage a network of restored historic stone houses within Roccavivara. You’ll have your own private space, with a kitchen and modern bathroom, fully integrated into real village life.
3Do I need to speak Italian to survive?
Officially, we speak “Codex”. It’s our own language: a mix of passion for technology, respect for nature, and a desire to change the world. That said, you’ll be in deep Italy. Learning a bit of basic Italian will help you order the best wine and connect with the village elders (the real influencers around here).
4What’s the difference between Basecamp and The Summit?
Basecamp is designed for talent: nomads, freelancers and creators looking for community and a place to work. The Summit is our exclusive circle for investors, business angels and successful founders seeking business opportunities and privacy.
5Can I attend the “PRIMORDIA” event in August without being a member?
The “PRIMORDIA” event is open to everyone. It’s our great welcome celebration. We want you to come, breathe the air of Roccavivara, get to know the project and live the experience. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover this way of life with no prior commitment.
